I watched it today. Pretty good, though I confess I didn't enjoy it quite as much as I had hoped. I don't know that it would make someone a fan, but if you've been enjoying the world thus far it's a sold enough entry. Better than Iron Fist and the second half of Luke Cage, but below JJ, DD1 and 2, and the first half of Luke Cage.

I'm about 20 minutes away from the end of the season. I'm loving how all the different series are brought together, supporting cast included.

as wease said, i love how they tied everything together. the explanation of how the hand came to be etc. the interactions from everyone. i thought it was done really well

i binged it all in a day, which is not how I usually watch. i wonder if that impacted my enjoyment.

i wish we had more time with Alexandra. madame gao remains wonderful. The new hand leader never did much and
Spoiler: show
that guy from iron fist is hard to watch

when it was first announced sigourney was cast while i wasnt skeptical i also wasnt all that impressed. she really surprised me with her immersion in the role and totally believed she was as cutthroat as she was. i agree with madame gao. im not sure if its the acting of the script or the physical side of her acting but you see her walk with that gait and believe she is a frail old lady who isnt a threat but then bam, shes throwing stacks of cement block at cage. of the 5 fingers of the hand i will say Bakuto while not all that intimidating power wise does pull off the acting. if more were done with his character i think he would have been more enjoyable. the last two guys, sowande (white hat) and murakami felt underused though that is to be expected since there were only 8 episodes to try to flesh them out so to speak.

elektra and stick were great and i really love the portrayal of stick. not sure the actors name but i cant envision anyone else playing that part

I actually got up at like 4am, took a lunch break, and stayed up until 1am. I have company over through the week, and didn't want to have to wait a week to watch

I could have waited...

Just finished and I loved it. I put this series just below JJ and DD. Can't wait to see what's next.

Does anyone know what Netflix plans for the the future? Another season of Defenders? Daredevil? Jessica? Luke? (don't want anymore Iron Fist)

When does Punisher start?

Punisher is next then JJ, then Cage, then DD3, then Fist.

Haven't watched Cage or Iron Fist yet. Watched the first episode of Defenders...not surprisingly I don't care about Cage or Iron Fist. Not to go all Verb here but Iron Fist is the most out of shape living weapon ever and that logo drawn in marker on his chest is ridiculous. They really went through the motions with that casting and design.

Finn Jones does a good job with the characterization the writers gave him. The problem is the characterization more than the performance.

and while you don't need to watch Luke Cage for Defenders, Iron Fist has a lot of setup.

i know i have the stigma of adoring marvel but i liked iron fist and i like him in the defenders too.

dont get me wrong, hes the 4th best of the characters but thats more of how great charlie, ritter and coulter have been not how bad he is
