I think it starts pretty slowly but overall I liked this season far better than the second one. It's significantly more fun.

its really tiresome to see these ¨good guys¨ talking about any political stuff in tv while also being kinda funny and hip and cool....its just...please enough of this shit.
That was fun. Ultimately, I have basically the same issues with this season as I've had with every season. But just like the previous seasons it's mostly fun and easy to ignore the flaws in favor of the good stuff.
Great season. Up there with Season 1. The filmmaking is top notch and the art is just insane.
Damn the cast is good.
Yeah, I was surprised how much I liked it, as I'd thought the second season was good, but not great; they're very good with setting up and delivering on their narrative in fun ways. I'd finished the season, but a roommate had on the first episode and I watched about half of it, and was pleasantly surprised; I'd felt like the episode was slow-moving on first watch, but seeing it again it was surprising how well it was setting up everything that was going to follow.
And agreed on the cast; they've got so many actors that are able to carry scenes. Usually, saying something is "good for what it is" sounds like a copout, but it fits here; for the specific thing this show is going for, they do it well.
I was also surprised out how visceral and gory some of it got, especially for a show that isn't necessarily marketed to kids, but seems to be built as something that younger teens could enjoy. That part when they're trying to get the thing out of Eleven's leg made me cringe pretty hard.

Kinda reminded me of it..S1 has Hop remembering his daughter, now Eleven is remembering him. Its powerful and ts actually doing something else to the story. The scenes with them moving, with her and mike, Winona...pretty amazing stuff
