In other comedic news, we saw Chris Gethard on Friday night in a tiny club. He headlined with a 45+ minute set. His kid is the same age as ours; he and I are the same age and had similar upbringings; and he grew up very close to where my wife's family is from. The whole set was basically tailor made for us, like we related to every single joke he made on a personal level.

Also this was probably the best standup show I've seen in person, and that includes:

Patton Oswalt
Michael Che
Marc Maron
Tom Papa
Neil Brennan

He was phenomenal. Equal parts funny and moving.
