New Patton Oswalt is good. Not his best special, but some great moments. The final ten minutes was underwhelming though. |

Yeah in retrospect this has gotten worse instead of better. Patton for me is a bit like Pearl Jam, and I’m always glad to check out what he’s creating. But the special is not great. |

But the special is not great. when comedians become comedy actors, it's always awkward when they try and go back, especially when they dip into that barrel one too many times. it's like Ice Cube trying to rap again. i appreciate where you came from, but realize where you're at. |

Watched the new Seinfeld standup special on Netflix last night. While nothing groundbreaking, I loved it because it was a comforting escape after a brutal week-and-a-half. And his ability to compose an hour-long special down to every single syllable and gesture, yet still have it feel really loose, is something to behold. |
