It's as if I somehow landed in a cinematic superhero alternate reality twilight zone hellscape. What the fuck. Seriously. Haven't people had enough of these goddamn movies? What the fuck is wrong with everyone.

The industry is just so fucking desperate they can't take chances on anything other than big stupid HILARIOUS comic book movies. Every "joke" in this trailer made me want to jump out a window. Why does ANYONE like this stupid shit?! I'm so sick of it. Where's Soggy Bottom already

I wouldn't mind at all if everyone weren't head over heals into all these dumb bloated pieces of shit. I just don't understand why it isn't just a niche thing like it should be.

Lots of stuff to get pissed at in the world right now. I'm not sure "people like superhero movies" is a good use of your righteous anger.

He's right that there's too many of them, and it is at least slightly worrying that they seem to be the sole extent of cultural engagement for a huge number of grown adults, but this seems like a weird time to air that grievance. Feels like it reached a saturation point pre-Covid which tapered off (for obvious reasons)

No... It's more than that. The overwhelming love for these dumbass pieces of shit is just a small representation of most people and their horrible behavior in general... I'm so sick of the majority of the human race I can hardly stand it sometimes.

I actually would love to see a sardonic jab like that.. maybe directed by scorcese.. turn it into a real NOT FUNNY, NOT ACTION PACKED THRILL RIDE, dramatic, timely, meaningful piece of art
