Jeez

All movies are three hours long now, it's obscene and strange

Every movie should be the exact same length as Killing Them Softly.

Hard agree. Almost 3 hours is way too long for fucking Batman. It'll probably keep me from seeing this until I can watch it from my couch.

If I don't sit in a theater for a 3 hour movie than I'm almost certainly going to get distracted or play with my phone during the movie. Short movies only in my house.

I'll probably watch it in two parts.

How many parts did you watch The Hobbit the other day?

That dude sat on his couch watching Hobbit movies the whole time I was there. It was unbelievable.

I downloaded the soundtrack this morning; it's all great but I particularly love the horror elements ("Mayoral Ducting" and "A Bat in the Rafters 1 and 2") and the emotional pieces ("Sonata in Darkness")

if this movie ends up being set on Halloween I'm gonna be happy

Is that what they’re adapting for this?

No, just wishful thinking.

One of my favorite, and gorgeous, Batman tales but definitely a mini-series at the least.

Standing by my original prediction that this is going to suck.

there's one track referencing Halloween and another with pumpkin pie in the title (I think the Riddler is eating one in one of the clips)

Who pissed in your cornflakes?

I'm sorry I said your dumb bat movie will suck.

Only if we can sneak in without paying.

I don't eat cornflakes. And I have nothing to do with this bat film.

I dunno that last trailer showed some promise

One thing I've noticed about this release cycle, in contrast to the last time there was a live-action standalone Bats movie, is that I feel no personal investment in this thing being good. Back then, it felt real high stakes for me whether I liked a Batman movie or not. I guess that was 10 years ago now so it makes sense that it doesn't feel the same anymore

He's a white cis man on Twitter. Duh. Also no one wants to make his comic into a movie. So... Clearly this will suck.

Oh, also, something liberal media cancel culture something...

This was odd
