I'm really excited to see what season two will focus on. But I wonder if they haven't so far outdone themselves with this first season that season two can't help but be a tremendous let down. I hope not. This has such incredible potential to be one of the best shows ever.

I haven't watched this. I may or may not. But there's going to be a second season? What will they focus on?

I'm saying this assuming the first season was the entirety of the trial.

They are doing another season? I thought this was a one and done?

It's just like American Horror Story (same creator). It's an anthology show. So season one was American Crime Story: The People v OJ Simpson. The second season will focus on a completely different crime story.

Oh so it's like True Detective. I'm sure the second season will be great!

Real Talk: I was trying desperately not to mention True Detective because of the obvious parallel and all that implies.

Yeah, looks like that seems to be true according the Hollywood Reporter:

Could be a really fantastic season of television depending on what the focus ends up being. I kinda liked the "true crime" element of S1 and was really hoping for another true crime story for S2. So, I'm a little bummed that this might not really focus on real people. I'm also concerned by what "The show will broaden its definition of “crime”" means. That sounds worrisome.

I rather them just do more seasons on all of OJ's court hearings!

It's probably about that cop that shot a guy during the evacuation.

I never liked it. I didn't make it through the first season. And I hated Glee, too. One of the worst shows I've ever seen. I'm not a Ryan Murphy fan at all and it's why I didn't have high hopes for OJ. And the first two episodes of OJ, the one's Ryan was most involved with and wrote and directed, were the worst of the whole series. Not a coincidence.

Could be. I was thinking it could also be about that category 5 hurricane that destroyed a major U.S. city.
