My wife has never seen Twin Peaks. Yesterday she decided she'd like to watch it and get caught up before the new season drops. So we started from the beginning last night. We're 5 episodes in and she's really enjoying it. I think I'd somehow forgotten how flat out amazing that first season is. Christ! I'm hooked all over again and I can't stop thinking about it. I fucking love this show.

How many seasons are there?
Thru what media are you watching them?
I saw just a few episodes during the original run, but never really got into it.

It's the best ahow ever. You should watch it.
Mrs Wease and I will start it this weekend. We need something we can watch while the kids are still milling about. We're slugging thru Orange is the New Black because we can't really turn it on when the kids are still up and active.

I hope you enjoy it. It's a strange and beautiful animal. Are you familiar with any of David Lynch's other work?

I've seen Dune and Blue Velvet but I think that's it.

Cool. This is way more on the Blue Velvet end of the spectrum. It's very weird and funny. Keep in mind that this is Mark Frost and David Lynch doing soap opera. That's the key thing about Twin Peaks: at its heart, it's a soap opera.

Eh. I sat thru Desperate Housewives with the wife. Soap opera doesn't bother me if it's done well.
