Luke Null is his name, and I'm starting to feel bad for him. He's contributed nothing of note this season, and I'd be shocked if he came back to the cast next year. Maybe he's having more success in the writers' rooms?
Better episode last night. The traditional Mother's Day opening was expected as was Schumer's stand up monologue. The game show sketch and Handmaid's parody were okay but I thought it got better from there. The Lil Rent sketch was probably the best one of the night and I always like McKinnon's horny barfly character. Schumer was in every sketch I think, showing how much confidence the writers have in her. Weekend Update was fine, though I thought the youtube reviewer could have been shorter. Melissa McCarthy highjacked the last third though; she was predictable but still got some chuckles from me. I can totally see Kyle Mooney being a valedictorian. Season wraps with Tina Fey next week. Finales can be really good or painfully obvious they just want to be done.

The Graduation sketch was awesome, but I love that format whenever they use it. My potential enjoyment of every other skit was clouded by how much I dislike Amy Schumer.

SO cool. Amazing. I'll add that they didn't show the upstairs, which includes the administrative offices, green room, dressing rooms, and a small props department; nor the large props/set department, which isn't even in the building (it's in Brooklyn or Queens or something).
I was mildly disappointed. I expected some celebrity drop bys but that was overkill, which I know, was the point. I thought it was going to be better, though Eric Trump usually gets an effectively cheap laugh from me, which he did moreso in the opener than later on. Tina Fey was underused as host and thought it was one of the weaker Weekend Updates of the season. They all seemed ready to go for the summer.
