Pete Davidson to Host on May 6th.

That could be interesting, though Pete was not the best sketch player. He really shined best on his Update appearances. His monologue should be good though.
Oh yeah, a writer’s strike looks likely starting May 1 so Pete might have to wait until next season.

Another average, forgettable episode.

Update was funny. Mikey Day saved a few sketches.

Ego's obnoxious character was back too soon. She went hard to get the laugh but it fell flat.

On the plus side, watching Ana de Armas in general is rather pleasing, so that helped.

Agreed. Loved her first appearance but this sucked.

Hmm... I like the idea of the format: Work with the old script, then use it as a jumping off point for discussion, and keep the whole thing to four episodes.

The downside is more Carvey talking about his heyday.

Haha, it’ll be cool if he can keep himself in check. As a seasoned talk show host, I think Conan will be able to reel him in when needed.

oh i missed that Conan would be on-air. Yeah hopefully he'll anchor Carvey a bit. Or just talk the whole time. Unlike Carvey, virtually everything that comes out of Conan's mouth is funny or interesting.

Goddammit Jennifer Coolidge was set to host the finale before the writers strike

FOTW Julie Bowen ep is great. She and Spade have history.

Probably my favorite episode. She seemed like she’d be REALLY cool to hang out with. I laughed all the way thru it.

Listening to her episode made me realize I hadn’t listened to the Ed O’Neill episode yet so I listened to it and really enjoyed it, as well.
