I’m thought it was an enjoyable episode overall, not a standout but hardly one of the worst of the season. The monologue admittedly had a few bumps but there were some decent sketches. I’m surprised Fugliana made it air, I chuckled a couple times but it was awkward as hell and already hasn’t aged well.

Monologue...ouch.

Rock Bottom Kings, HR Meeting, High School Reunion were good.

Both roll-in characters on Update were bad.

I liked the monologue a lot. Felt like a tight rope act. You felt like it was probably crossing a line for a lot of people, and then when you think about it, saying "cracker" , "R-word" and "downs syndrome" on TV is actually OK, if in the right context.

Very average/forgetable episode overall. Chloe Fineman got a bunch of screen time though.

ScarJo was good in the cold open.

Ice bath... That's different.

Fuck, Ariana Grande is hot. And divorced!

Update had a lot to work with. Some good lines.

Moulin Rouge was fun.

So Travis Scott fuckin sucks.

Cold open was good. JAJ needs to look fatter when he's Trump.

Couples Goals really beat the written answers gag into the ground.

Immigrant dad talk show was funny.

Update had some ok jokes.

After a run of so so (at best) episodes Kristen Wiig’s return brought several lighter, silly sketches and a lot of cameos. I liked how everyone was in their 5 timer jackets for the goodbyes.

I got a chuckle out of the jumanji sketch, specifically Dismukes.

Back to back strong episodes. Even with all the breaks Gosling was obviously having a blast. One of the better Updates in a while. The Beavis & Butthead sketch was obviously the highlight though; that one would make the season’s “best of” reel.

Nicely done, Caitlin Clark.

The Beavis & Butthead one only worked because they couldn’t hold it together.
