I think that one may have flew by a few people. I was cracking up at it but no one else was.
I mean, I'm laughing right now thinking of the delivery of that line. so good.

Also, remember the leaked Avengers 3 footage from SDCC that had the Guardians finding Thor? I just looked again and
- Spoiler: show
- Thor has two eyes.
On a podcast they mentioned this and said it was probably to keep it from being spoiled in Thor. I mean, if the San Diego people would have reported Thor only having one eye, it would have kind of given away part of this movie, yeah?

The trailer for Thor also
- Spoiler: show
- didn't show any damage to his eye when he landed on the rainbow bridge thingie and had lightning sparking out of every orifice
yeah I noticed that one.
- Spoiler: show
- The missing eye effect looked weird .
There were a couple spots where you could still see his eye and I kept thinking, "They spent millions on this movie and someone missed the fact you can see his eye through the makeup?"

I enjoyed this for the most part but definitely felt like way too many things going on and not enough time spent with any of them.

I haven't seen it yet so I skipped the last couple of pages of discussion but I have a question...
Does this benefit from 3D or can I get away with regular D?
(3D makes me dizzy sometimes).

Thanks for the answer.
Does anyone who liked the movie agree? 3D not necessary?

I thoroughly enjoyed this and can't remember a time when I laughed this much at a comic book movie or action movie in general. Mark Ruffalo's scenes were ace.

I saw it IMAX 3D. It wasn't distracting at all, but nothing I can think of that was necessary.

3D is never necessary.
except maybe a couple of scenes in Jackass 3D

saw this a second time with the wife.
I think I liked it equally the first and second time. The first time everything was unexpected. The second time I could appreciate it without prior expectations. Very solid movie but didn't crack my top 3 (or possibly even top 5) like I had hoped. My wife loved it but wished it was a bit more serious with Hela (tonally she likes where the Captain America movies are best, or anything with Robert Downey Junior)
With minimal prior knowledge of the movies she thought Justice League looked too dreary and is super excited for Black Panther.

You know, funny you should say that about Black Panther. I was minimally interested based on the trailers, but that one was one that actually really benefited from the big screen. More immersive than maybe i was able to get off a laptop screen.

No interest in Black Panther. The trailers look like crap
