I wouldn't go that far, but I really liked the first one. At the time it was a fresh take on the genre that did a great job of translating an odd comic to the big screen.
The second one was pointless, derivative trash though. You could tell they replaced a great director with a robot.

This looks fun.
I was referring to the characters, but yes, the movies have been inconsistent.

i think thor II would have been much better without jane. i think that kind of killed the whole movie and i am sure they could have found a better way to advance the ethers plot

The first movie is decent for a generic Marvel meh-fest, mainly due to the fish-out-of-water comedy. The second one is pure garbage and I have no faith in Marvel whatsoever at this point.

Huh, when I watched the video at work with no sound I was like meh. Watched it at home with the speakers up and yeah this DOES look fun (perfectly fitting LZ tune here). Plus Cate Blanchett is looking mighty fine in that trailer for 47 yrs old. Count me in!

The woman on my wife's Facebook page are up in arms that he has short hair. If only I could go back in time and tell my middle school self that one day woman will actually be getting upset over an incorrect visual portrayal of Thor.

I like him too, mostly for the comedic angle; Hemsworth plays dumb, arrogant & likeable really well. He hasn't had great movies, but some of my favorite stuff from his solo outings has been the stupid little moments of comedy, like hanging Mjolnir up in the coat rack
I haven't loved his solo movies, but his jokes were some of the best stuff in Avengers 2.

I just finished the Planet Hulk storyline. It's a shame something that good is getting watered down into a Thor movie. Still, this should be a totally great movie.

Maybe they're just introducing and setting up the Planet Hulk story (for a later film) in a Thor movie more than watering it down and cramming it into a Thor movie.
