He saw the one future where the good guys win. Presumably he saw Tony alive there, so knew he had to save him.

He and Cap were on common ground finally - shaky ground to be sure, but it was getting better - and then he found out about what Bucky did and just lost it. Same thing here. I buy that decision/characterization for Quill, especially if he has to acknowledge it later. A hubris moment I noticed on a later viewing - had Thor not taken the time to gloat and hit Thanos again he might have killed him

This was better than Avengers 2. Probably on par with Avengers 1. The space stuff was cool. Had plenty of issues though overall.

For as much as the ending was built up by people I walked away pretty disappointed. What a cop out. I apologize that I am coming to the conversation so late.
