I get that and I don’t. He’s a bit too one dimensional macho man. A lot of this feels like it’s gonna fall on him to make a final call and people are gonna die no matter what. And he gets to / they get to send him off into the sunset unhappy with the decision.

No. He’s going to sacrifice himself and die.

As with the 80s, We’re in another age of cinema as propaganda. No way they’d kill captain America.

He’s toast. Evans is finished. Contract is up. No interest in playing the character anymore. He even says Endgame wraps everything up. Steve Rogers will be dead at the end of that movie. Bucky will take up the mantle of Captain America. He still has a few films left on his contract.

Sam Jackson dropped a pretty big plot point talking about Captain Marvel.
Quote:
"I mean, they’re up against some really, really tough odds right now we saw throughout Infinity War. So now we know we need something that’s as powerful as Thanos. And at some point, we’ll find out how powerful she is and all the things that she’s capable of.” Most crucially, he teased: “She’s one of the few people in the Marvel Universe that can time travel.”
