I was today years old when I found out Harvey Korman voiced the Great Gazoo.
(who did what?)

Sad to hear that Jack Hanna has been diagnosed with dementia. :(

Watching the Q series on HBO...imagine what it would be like to live in the Watkins' orbit. I can't relate to them or any of their hangers-on on any level.

Flipping through the cable news channels I wonder if Chris Cuomo wears a hair piece. Seems to be a lot of forehead tonight.

Is the first season of True Detective the most overrated show in history? Yes. Yes it is. Not half as smart as people seem to think it is.

It’s odd watching MASH in high def, among other shows from that era. The sets look real cheap. Also there’s a glaring difference between scenes shot at the Malibu ranch location and those shot in a studio.

Breaking Bad, while great, is overrated.

It's not on the same level as The Sopranos, Deadwood or The Wire (or BCS)

The "Say my name" scene makes me physically cringe.

Interesting I haven't noticed. I tend to think older shows look better since they were shot on film and upscale better.

I pity anyone who tries to appreciate TD1 outside of its original airing

I agree somewhat, though season 4 is elite tier television to me.

The Gus death scene is pretty hokey.

I don't think it is great because it is smart. I think it is great because of the acting.

Woody is pretty good.

I had no idea that Idris was a pom when I first watched The Wire. It's actually super noticable in certain scenes if you listen for it, though.

Still, he did a great job. Convincing accents must be the hardest thing in acting.
