I don’t like the premise of Larry having to cast the niece of a burglar who drowned in his pool, it’s a stretch to say the least, but I will definitely give them the benefit of the doubt to see where it goes. A few grins but a nothing special opener. Kind of odd that Funkhauser wasn’t mentioned, particularly with a subplot featuring Albert Brooks. Happy to have the show back for another run.

This season is meandering along so far. The best parts of last week’s episode were the last two scenes. For a show where guest celebrities regularly play themselves Vince Vaughn and Patton Oswald are probably too famous to appear as not themselves.
