It's worth noting that the first two episodes were made by movie directors. From here on out, it looks like it's gonna be TV directors. Another reason I'm skeptical.
LV, always hoping for the worst, even when he is having fun.
Yeah, we are all going to die man, eventually.
Haha, just the opposite! I'm always hoping for the best! But I am...concerned based on what we've seen so far. I did not like the second episode as much as you guys. All the stuff they added to suit the TV format is hurting it a lot for me; when I'm watching it, I can't help but wish they had just made an Ash-centered movie instead.

Well yeah a movie could have been great, but im really glad we got this with Ash. And make no mistake...Ash is the main figure here.

I kinda get what you say LV, and i kinda think the same, im not sure how this will held without Raimi.
But, so far its been great, scary and funny. And looks really good right?
Cinematography and lighting were pretty good for a TV show, yeah. I'm just surprised anyone could say the humor felt more organic and less reaching in this than the first, because I felt the complete opposite. And I missed all the ridiculous slapstick stuff Raimi delivered (the lightbulbs, the killer doll). We'll see. I'm hopeful, but a little skeptical right now.
the lightbulb bit was great, and I enjoyed the doll bit as well. But this episode had him punching the mother in the face in the middle of dinner. That's pretty great, too.

That was definitely the best part of the episode. "I was starting to feel like a real dick."

pirate bay seems to have pulled all the ash vs. evil dead torrents. Any recommendations for where I can continue getting this (besides paying for starz?)

Ash: If we get this done quickly enough we might have time to stop for churros. And that's not a racist thing. That's just a great dessert. Pablo: You know I'm not mexican, right? Ash: That's the spirit!

Dude, I just sent you a link to a good site like two weeks ago. Or just see above where people are discussing where to watch it. Or buy starz.

have you seen evil dead 2/army of darkness? I don't know if it would be necessary pre-viewing, but it might help.
