Yes I am finished with episode one and halfway through episode two. Interesting story.
Love his dogs. Very obedient.

They talked about The Old Man eps 1+2 on the Prestige TV podcast. One of the guests had an interesting theory:
- Spoiler: show
- she is completely convinced that Bridges’s daughter’s voice is Alia Shawkat’s voice, so they are one in the same
I didn’t catch this when I watched. Will have to pay attention in the next ep.

There’s definitely something more going on than it just being his daughter, for sure.

My family have been watching Cold Case all vacation.
It's very bad. I find it very hard to understand what pleasure anybody (let alone my own family) could get from a show that is so unbelievably stupid.

It's been great. I've spent most of the week sitting by the pool drinking expensive drinks and reading and it's been great.
I went down to the beach at high tide yesterday and it was pretty wild. I took a real beating out there.
Tonight we're going to Joe's Bar and Grill.

If either of the dogs die on The Old Man I’m out.
Also, Amy Brenneman: I still would

Welp.
Anyway, E3 was solid. It’s a bit uneven. Everything with Bridges is uniformly awesome. Lithgow is fantastic as always, but everything at CIA HQ feels very network tv. All the flashback stuff feels a bit hokey, but that could pick up as that story shifts from setup to action.

My wife and I are currently binging this hard. I actually came here specifically to recommend it to both you and trag, but I'm not surprised to see that you are already posting about it.
Such a good representation of kitchen/restaurant culture. The gratuitous Wilco on the soundtrack doesn't hurt either.
