I also loved it but why wouldn't I? It's a compelling true crime story set within a frame narrative about the difficulty of being a writer, intertwining the two stories such that they create a kind of third rail detective plot, all of which extensively feature Patton Oswalt!

In that case, you can think of it as a show that extensively features a guy pretty openly and honestly dealing with his wife's overdose, and he also happened to have a guest spot of the later seasons of VEEP.
