I’ve always loved reading. I can’t remember a time when I haven’t been a reader.

 Hence why I've been running triple-digit Goodreads lists for the past few years.

I've always found it hard to understand when people are proud of not reading. You saw a lot of it during the election, "I don't need to read to know she's a liar!" and all that. It's like, show me on the doll where the English teacher touched you. Books help you see more of the world without leaving your seat.

Binged watched the last two seasons of the UK version of Hunted. Then started on the US version, which should just be called Stupid People do Stupid Things

Counterpart. I like it, but it is convoluted.

I’ve been making my way thru those, as well. I’ve hit a patch in the middle of the third season I’ve never seen before.

Watched the first two episodes of "The Terror" on AMC, starring Mance Rayder and Lane Pryce. Pretty good. I've had the novel on my Kindle forever but never got around to reading it, so hopefully this remains good enough that I won't have to.

I came here to ask about this. I loved the book, but somehow missed that this was premiering last night

But on the other hand I never would have watched the show in the first place if it weren’t for her

Roseanne was good. Actors acting the same, feels right. DJ's still horrible.

What percentage of screen time/voiceover is devoted to Judd Apatow? If X > 40%, i'm out.

I thought the new Roseanne started a little shaky. HD does give it a new look, especially in the kitchen/living room scenes. It's like when It's Always Sunny switched over it took some getting used to. Plus the studio audience sounded a little too sweetened. It felt like an extended skit.
But then the well established character dynamics came into play and the actor chemistry is still there. Roseanne/Dan, Roseanne/Jackie, Becky/Darlene. Laurie Metcalf is still stands out and I'm very happy Lecy Goranson is playing Becky again. DJ is still the weak link but he was barely in the first episode and not in the second one at all. It's a reboot that looks like it's going to work and with new, late 2010s storylines to tell. And it's still funny. I'm in for the new run.

My biggest issue with these reboots is how similar the houses look. You're telling me they went two decades without updating the wallpaper or picture frames?
