the moving box.
well the first episode has the main character get fucked in the ass and her main takeaway is "do I have a large asshole?"
See above.
"hey siri, what's a fleabag"
Quote:
Fleabag is a British comedy-drama television series set in London. It was originally produced by Two Brothers Pictures for digital channel BBC Three in a co-production agreement with Amazon Studios.[1][2] The show premiered on 21 July 2016 and concluded on 8 April 2019, after two series.[3][4] Show creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge writes and stars as the protagonist, Fleabag, an angry, confused and sexually voracious young woman living in London. The programme is particularly known for "breaking the fourth wall" when the main protagonist talks to the camera.[5]
Also S1 was 2016, S2 was just released. I see ads for it on Amazon.
It's an Amazon Prime/BBC show. Both season are on Prime. Each season is comprised of 6 30 min eps. It's a comedy but it's a very dark comedy with a lot of drama mixed in. I watched each season in one sitting.
It's created/written by/starring Pheobe Waller-Bridge. Who is a goddamn genius. Olivia Coleman is also in the show as a supporting character. Brett Gelman is in it. The dude who plays Moriarty in the BBC Sherlock (w/ Cumberbatch and Freeman) is in S2.
Those are probably the only people you might know from other things.
Ill watch it because the gal is kinda overseeing the new Bond flick.
I'm telling you, man. I keep reading critics and fans say things like "near-perfect work of art." And I normally short of cringe at that kind of hyperbole but with this show, it isn't hyperbole. There just isn't a better or more appropriate way to describe it. The thing is a near-perfect work of art.

So we finished Dead to Me. Really good show. I love Christina Applegate so goddamn much. I love Linda Cardellini so goddamn much. I hope they renew for a second season.

We enjoyed this. Formulaic network style show, but easy entertainment. Applegate and Cardellini are both great.

Good Omens
I like it. It's got a very "Pushing Daisies" vibe to it so far and I am a big fan of the book.

Fox & Friends. I know Saturday morning talk shows are meant to be light & breezy but this is bizarro. There was a story on Trump not imposing the tariffs on Mexico and Biden's reversal on the Hyde amendment and there was the expected conservative spin. There was also favorable commentary on Trump's trip to London and Normandy. There were pieces on how commencement speakers are usually liberal and how millennials don't know how to do basic DIY chores around the house.
