Seán Murphy is the imaginary friend of 12-year-old Martin Paul Kenny Dalglish Moone, the youngest child (and only son) in a family living in Boyle, a small town in rural Ireland. Martin, aided by his imaginary friend, has a unique perspective on life. His imagination comes into play both in his childish drawings, which come alive through animation, and in the ridiculous schemes he comes up with, against Seán's better judgement. With Seán's help, Martin negotiates life as the youngest member of a chaotic, scatterbrained family.

Chris o Dowd. A naturally funny comic and really brilliant at inhabiting his character.
He’s also great in the IT crowd.

Yeah, we've been re-watching IT crowd as well. Heck, I was watching the first episode with my son and when he comes on screen my son said "If he's in this I can't take it seriously" and then they're talking about shifting a bird and I told him that I'm pretty sure this isn't a serious show.

Listening now. He’s really funny and alarmingly bright. I thought he was just a comedian but he has insight when it comes to Ireland anyways.

Started watching Good Friended Me. Bit Hallmarky, but I'm enjoying it.

Sixth season of The Blacklist

This might be fun. I had to close my eyes a lot when I watched the original as a kid.

Went to find it on the app today.

"a few episodes back" - show date is August 2018. lol

Cheers!

Also watched the first episode of Get Shorty. He's more serious but still funny enough for the writing. I think I'll keep going.

Wife and I watched the first episode of Mrs. Maisel. Very funny, kind of coarse in ways I didn't expect, and certainly didn't expect to see boobs. Going to keep watching it.

Getting to the show was a chore because she's been watching that Mozart in the Jingle show. She asked if I wanted to watch and I said well I've missed a few episodes and she said it wasn't that important. Well that's a rousing endorsement, I gotta say. So we ended up on Mrs. Maisel instead and I'm glad for it.

Also her husband looked like a bargain-basement Jake Gyllenhaal, I couldn't shake that I was seeing him instead of the actor.

Forever on Amazon Prime. Episode 6 was one of the best bottle episodes I've ever seen. Was not expecting that.

That's a little unfair to S7, which has "Leslie & Ron", one of the best Parks & Rec episodes ever :hooray:

I'm watching the Sex Education pilot on Prime. Pretty funny so far. I don't remember being THIS obsessed with sex in high school

The S6 finale is perfection. It felt like the series finale and it probably should have been. S7 has some great yucks but there is nothing essential in it for me. I think S6 is a contender for best season of the show.

I’ve still not finished it yet. Just felt like it should’ve ended.
