thematically it works just fine, but it would be crap storytelling. This show began from place of already knowing that Jimmy would “break bad.” The hook for the viewers — established by the flash-forwards to NE — was that unlike Walt, Jimmy would eventually find the light side of the force, baking Cinnabons until events would collide in such a way that he would narrowly escaped the jaws of death (and possibly find true love).Jorge wrote:I think it's pretty much guaranteed that Jimmy will either die or go to jail.
