The more I think about it
Spoiler: show the more I love the end of Amos's story. One of the big questions I had coming in was how they would wrap that up, and I think simply letting Amos be Amos for another 1000 years is a nice bow on everything.

It was almost exactly a 10-hour book for me--when I got to 50%, it said there were 5 hours left. Hour and a half a day, that's a week-long read--piece of cake!
