Finished the last book. I'm not watching the last season of the show until all the episodes drop.

She should be captain of Rocinante instead of that weak ass Holden.

Really good but really rushed. I will never understand why no network or streamer has fully committed to this series when it comes to budget (production, marketing, etc.) and completing the narrative.

I fully expect to get at least one movie to wrap up the story but The Expanse deserves so much more.

I thought it was a pretty good finale all things considered. Pretty intense.

I have a few big problems with this season, but I thought it was a big improvement over the last one.

That opening scene pissed me off though.

I’ve never really been able to follow the space battles in this show.

I like that they're so fast and chaotic. Basically whoever gets hit first loses.

Seems realistic to me.

Spoiler: show
why would your first reaction to seeing your dead son be to attack him with a knife?!

Wasn’t the father a scientist involved with protomolecule research? Seems he’d know a proto zombie when he sees one.

Maybe that’s why he just defensively sliced him, rather than stabbed him a bunch of times. More reflex than intent to kill.

Does anyone watch this show without having read the books?

I was watching the battle between the Roci and the Pella, and my family was in the room. They didn't say anything, but I was wondering if they understood at all what was happening.

Torpedos fire. PDCs shoot them down. Ship spins and takes a shot with the rail gun. More torpedos. More PDCs.

Does any of this make sense to someone who hasn't read through a battle scene in the book?

I haven’t read the books. For me, it’s the visual aspect. All the ships look too samey, like Transformers do in the live action movies. I wouldn’t be able to pick the Roci out of a lineup.
