The wife and I watched Radio Days last night, neither of us had seen it before.

I got absurdly weepy and nostalgic for an era 50 years before I was born and she looked at me like I was nuts. She thought it was funny; I thought it was too but also very melancholic.

I thought we should have a Woody Allen thread, so here it is.

Annie Hall and Midnight in Paris are two of my favorite movies of all time. I could watch either of those any time, any day. Love 'em.

I'm really keen to see Purple Rose soon.

Crimes and Misdemeanors is next up.

Hannah and Her Sisters and Radio Days are two of my favorite movies ever ever ever in the world. Especially the former. Crimes and Misdemeanors isn't far behind.

Trivia: I have seen 38 Woody Allen films.

I've had that feeling, myself. I'm not sure what's taking me so long. But based on the little clips I've seen, I think it's right up my alley.

I have seen 31. I'd have to pick Broadway Danny Rose for my favorite deep-cuts Woody Allen film. And it would contend for the top spot overall, too.

It's not a competition, Billy Corgan

If it was a competition, you would have won.

How is the title of this thread not "What's your favorite Woody Allen movie"?
