pretty excited to watch the Mr Rogers documentary
Me too. I just saw an ad for it yesterday.
this was excellent
Realized how little i knew about him or the show, even though i watched it religiously as a child
One of the best documentaries I’ve ever watched. I never watched the show that often but was familiar enough with it I recognized everyone. His sincerity and pure empathy towards children was simply unmatched by anyone I’ve ever known and totally came thru in this film. He certainly got made fun of a lot, but he was one of a kind. It would’ve been an honor to be called his friend. I gained a lot of respect for him watching this.

Watched King Georges on Hulu last night. It’s about Chef Georges Perrier and the rise and fall of Le-Bec Fin in Philadelphia. I’ve never seen a doc capture the pace and mood of the back of house during dinner service so well. My wife and I were laughing out loud at parts that weren’t really meant to be that funny because it hit so close to home compared to our own restaurant work stories. I recommend watching this. Chef Georges and his crew are very likeable.
