I remember Leviathan being awesome but it’s been a really long time. I remember the ads for Deepstar Six but don’t think I actually saw it.

Leviathan is good, Deepstar is only memorable for its poster and ridiculous crab monster. But it’s shorter than the Abyss.

Cameron said he finished the 4K Transfer for Abyss. Rumor is Spring '23 but nothing official.

Ooh La La

On a related note, Soderbergh is set to roll our a box set of his early, lesser-seen films Post SL&V with new edits, and in some cases new scenes

Rogue One is the greatest Star Wars movie but it's not even as good as Monsters?

Looking forward to your take on whale man

Noah is right at the top of his filmography or me, truly stupendous. The Whale is definitely at the bottom, it sucks

I remember liking Noah, but I don't remember much else about it.

If I remember correctly, I thought the first half of Noah was good, then it got kinda boring.

Updated!

I avoided The Whale for a while because I heard it was too sappy, but he's a kinda sappy director, and I thought it fit the material. I was pleasantly surprised by it. The performances were great (except maybe the mousy preacher guy). Looks great, too.
