What are your thoughts on Sunshine?

I am not a fan. I think it's painfully trite sci-fi.

When I first saw it I really liked it, but I watched it again recently and really disliked it.

I remember liking the first half but feeling fairly let down by the end of the film. Really middle of the road kinda movie.
