What's more important, the camera or the camera man? Why didn't single shot cinema go mainstream after Rope? Does feminism have a place in motion pictures? What is your favorite trope? If you could recast Titanic, would you?

LV you were asking before about the HFR on the Hobbit. In the cinema it made for a very disorienting experience. Almost give you head swim. Lotta people even got nauseous. It sorta looked like those daytime soap operas on tv in the 80s. Whatever cameras they were. It made the whole thing look really cheap and fake which is baffling given the extreme lengths and efforts Weta etc go to when they made those films. As you said it probably won’t take off but it needs work before filmmakers take it up I’d imagine.

Snake Eyes It’s good but Burden of Dreams is better I haven’t seen it I’m here Define “camera man” Rope isn’t that great Yes I don’t have one No HFR is an acquired taste but people will get used to it if we get more content
