none at all. I don’t buy Star Wars merch or collect at all. Apart from Vader’s lightsaber cos I got it real cheap and a stack of reference books like art of and complete locations and Rinzlers making of Star Wars books. Which are excellent reads.

you guys ever think that There Will Be Blood is a metaphor for the republican party's cliche understanding of a woman's reproductive system and menstrual cycle?

first, you start with the foreshadowing name. you know at some point, there will be blood.

– the man finds a lady (ie. land with oil)
– eventually, the oil (blood) surfaces
– the man's son (here, representing the man) goes deaf after a huge fight between man and woman, that the man started
– sexually frustrated and not understanding why the woman doesn't want to have sex at the time, he demands to eat her milkshake
