The most overhyped movie I have seen in years. Perfomance wise, some fine acting, but this basically a movie about Broadway with camera work style your either gonna love or it will drive you crazy. Nothing really special here.

But it has Michael Keaton in it, I love that guy. How was he? Was his performance better, equal to, or worse than his performance in Mr. Mom?

Like I said, the acting was very good. But the rest of the movie just eh, funny moments too, but I just couldn't get into this film. There some people in the theatre who left like 25 minutes into the film.

The one source of hesitation I've had about this is that movies/plays about people making movies/plays are almost universally stupid.

Almost.

I really loved this. Keaton and Norton together were great.

Probably not. I mean, I think you'll appreciate many aspects, but I'm guessing you'll land on the other side, ultimately.

Stage actors/people who work in the theater get a special movie boner from this one, I think. Cinematography was so good.

Jorge, I could see you going strongly in either direction. It's a weird movie.

Galifinakis has turned into quite a solid actor.

Exactly.

The cinematography is one of the things I think (hope) Jorge really appreciates. I think even if you hate the movie you have to love the look/feel/camera work. It should at least get nominated for best cinematography.

dev is trolling harder and harder every day. he's getting kind of annoying. just wish he'd pretend like he had a humane side to his personality once in a while.
