Feels like blu ray technology would be wasted on a flick like Cannibal Holocaust. The way to watch that is a worn-out VHS tape that your buddy passed you during recess.

Still waiting for the Blu-ray release of The Iron Giant. Apparently Brad Bird and Warner Bros. are fighting over how to release it. Bird wants it jam-packed with lots of extra goodies and Warner Bros. just wants a bare-bones package. I'd prefer the extras, but at this point I just kinda want a good copy of the fucking movie.

Disagree. I don't think there's really any movie the tech is wasted on; all movies deserve to look the best they possibly can. And on top of that, CH is a pretty beautiful movie visually. It actually has very nice cinematography. Adds to its power.
