Wow, sweet!

Although I was slightly disappointed in the last few episodes of last season. The first half of the season was incredible. Quarrels was a great character that I thought they could've slow played his arc out longer. Instead, they made him into a buffoon by the end.

i think it's because we are without a central bad guy. the new bad guy they introduced isn't anything more than a stooge for boyd. he's certainly no maggs or quarrels. i guess maybe boyd is back to being the villain, though the nutty preacher will probably turn out to have unsavory ulterior motives as well.

i really hate patton oswald's character. this show isn't supposed to be the fucking dukes of hazzard, so there's no need for an ennis character. dumb.

i like that this season began with a mystery, though. i just hope they explain why something that was hidden in arlo's wall is suddenly so important that arlo would kill a man to keep the secret.

anyway, just good to have raylan back. he's cool as hell.

i loved that first episode

btw:

X-Files 7x09(Signs & Wonders)
Code:
A man is found dead in his locked car, killed from over a hundred snake bites. However, no evidence of snakes being present is found. The man was a former member of a religious cult that believes in snake handling. Mulder and Scully believe that this snake death was no accident, and that it may have been a murder involving this snake handling cult

Decent episode, with some really good one liners.

Couple of my nitpicks:
* the Gomer Pylesque constable in the AMC Gremlin. Despite the laughs, his character just seems really implausible.

* also not excited if Boyd is the central bad guy in this season. I don't think he will be, but we don't know enough yet.

I still love this show though.

1. He's one of those "it's that guy!" actors that you can't place at first. Bugged me to no end until I went ti IMDB and saw he was on ER back in the day.
2. If I were a betting man I'd say it had something to do with the opening scene + a bastardization of the D.B. Sweeney story.

Not sure. But, I know he played "Sledge" on HBO's "The Pacific."

It was good but I'm still trying to understand wtf is going on. I hope its not just Boyd vs. Winn.
