I would put forth that this is the best show on TV right now. Even though every time Colt is on screen I can't help but think "Forget everything you know about slipcovers."
Guys, I am not a moderator! I swear to God! Why does everyone think I'm a moderator?

Yeah I'm not too fond of the Colt character, but I don't think he'll be around much longer.

It's not really about 'winning' as it is about Raylan finally getting one up on him. Also, he was pretty good at predicting Raylan's moves, he just forgot about Bob.

I liked the finale. The Boyd/Eva arc will be interesting next season.
the season peaked a couple of episodes ago (the one where drew left on a train at the end). i enjoyed the last two episodes, but they didn't feel necessary. the music choice for the final shot was necessary. made it seem like raylan givens will not be alive at the series' end.
overall for the season: pros: the dialogue was snappy as hell. art is funnier and raylan is even more bad ass. tim was more fleshed out. i'd like for he and rachel to be utilized more. it was just a different formula. i don't think it worked as well, but it kept the show fresh.
cons: no main bad guy. mags will likely never be topped. quarrles was great too for 3/4 of a season. raylan needs a nemesis. the drew thompson storyline was thin. if it wasn't, we wouldn't have had the boxer and raylan's lover, the runaway black man, and the preacher and his sister storylines along the way.
i know the show is successful, but i think they'd be wise to end it after next season. boyd is in position to be the main bad guy again, bringing the show full circle, and winona is near birth, which i think would be raylan's reason to exit his job. i hope to see limehouse, dicky bennet, dewey crowe, and the girl mags was raising back for an appropriate farewell. as fx goes, though, this show will probably be on for another 6 years, and it will be largely shitty with the occasional great episode that reminds you why you used to love it (see always sunny).

I loved this season, possibly because I was late to hop on the Justified bus so it's all still fresh, but this is a fair assessment of it. I give it two more seasons and am a bit more optimistic given that FX was able to end The Shield before it went into the sh*tter.

I hate to rain on your parade but right now they're only set for one more season but they want to do six seasons (and a movie*). Also, Limehouse is pretty much done (his speech to Eva for example about "is this really who you want to be?" showing his change of heart. Plus the writers have stated as much in interviews. Dicky and Dewey and the girl may be back, you never know. I mean, they didn't even know who Drew Thompson was at the beginning of this season so things change.
