Last night's main story was a bit weak. "Local politics may be the most corrupt of all" isn't really news, although it was fun to laugh at some of the ridiculous things people do (like the meeting with no audience). And I was happy to see Rhode Island get a nod--we've got plenty of corruption to go around.

I still watch but I agree this season has generally been weaker than before.
My problem is that Oliver is not funny. He's smart, and the long-form pieces give him a great opportunity to dive really deep into the absurdity of a given topic. But I actually lol maybe once an episode.
