Jared’s early life is best passed over, but he managed to rise above it thanks to a series of largely well-meaning foster parents, and went on to receive a B.A. from Vassar College in Economics. During those too-soon-over happiest of years, he was proud to sing second alto with the “Joyce Carol Notes A Capella Confrontation.“ At Vassar he was also coxswain for Women’s Heavyweight Crew, writer and assistant stage manager of the opera “American HerStory XX,” and co-founder of Take Back “Take Back the Night.” After graduation, he worked for Google and Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi before becoming a a director of special projects at Hooli, working closely with CEO Gavin Belson, before moving to Pied Piper in 2014.

See, I always thought Hooli was a parody of Google. Isn't Google the only major tech company not featured in the opening credits?

I think Hooli is obviously a google parody, but it exists in the same universe. Google is in the opening sequence.

Season 4 started tonight, and it started well.

It did. I hope this is the start of some competency by the characters. I don't know if I can handle another season of Richard just constantly making mistakes.

Agreed on all counts. Last season was sort of pointless, and the yuk yuks really suffered. Last night's ep gives me hope that they've righted the ship.

Stephen Tobolowsky was great again in the premiere. Hopefully moving to the basement doesn't mean a diminished role.

I think Jian Yang works best in small doses.

I thought the same thing. He shouldn't really have a sub-plot. He should just remain the weird dude Ehrlich trades barbs with.

Pretty sure he played the taxi driver in Patriots Day (I watched it on the plane today). The actor has more range that's worth seeing (but I'm not suggesting Jian Yang is the best outlet for that).
