triple entendre: an opaque reference to the larry sanders show, of which wease is an intimate; a half-hearted plea for some leniency based on that fact; excitement at the hostile turn the rip thread seems to be taking

The Sopranos- yes The Wire Deadwood- yes Game Of Thrones- yes Curb Your Enthusiasm- yes Succession- yes Six Feet Under Chernobyl- started it, Mrs Wease got bored, didn’t finish Barry- tried it, couldn’t get into it. Plan on trying again The Leftovers The Last Of Us- yes Mare Of Easttown- yes The Night Of Veep- Yes Euphoria Sex and the City- tried it. Neither of us liked it Watchmen- yes The Larry Sanders Show-yes Boardwalk Empire I May Destroy You Insecure The White Lotus- yes Oz Silicon Valley- all but the last season. I thought the penultimate season was a perfect end True Blood Big Little Lies Eastbound & Down- yes Girls
I have also watched Righteous Gemstones, Hacks, Vice Principals, Tokyo Vice, The Gilded Age, the first season of True Detective, Band of Brothers, probably more.

I’ve seen 16 of them, and watched a few episodes of a couple others and bailed. And then Oz was unique in that I loved the first season, made it through the second and was like “this is getting stupid.” I never got back into it.
