The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

I’ve been making my way thru the Man of Steel hardcovers from the Byrne run. I’d never read any of the Ordway title nor most of the annuals/specials that were released around that time. I’m ready to start the last out of four tonight.

Ended up reading the 5-part Batman Series Secrets by Sam Kieth. I have always enjoyed his art but man there are some absolutely stellar panels across the issues. Also got me reading some more and this is certainly a fun interview.

Moebius was visiting the DC offices and went into Paul Levitz’s office. Levitz had some art of JLGL’s on the wall and Moebius asked who the artist was. Levitz told him and Moebius then asked if he used models for his figure work. Levitz smirked and replied, “no.” Moebius replied, “son of a bitch!”

Heh I feel that.
Speaking of French psychedelics, I impulse bought every Philippe Druillet book I could find off Amazon the other day. So good. Every page is mind-blowing.

Finished it last night. Very fun. So happy Atlas made it.
The art was very nice. The figure work was very fluid and didn’t seem stiff or static at all. I’d be very interested to know the process behind it. Since it was digital and not traditional pencil and ink I’d love to see some sort of step-by-step. It seems like it would have taken forever just for a single page.
How did Image get involved with publishing the single volume? You self published the previous offerings, correct?
Finally, will there be more?

A couple of regular book publishers reached out to me to publish it, so I got an agent. But what they were offering was a joke, so we shopped it around and went with Skybound. honestly, it's probably better to just self publish.
Slowly working on more, but it will look a little different. I'm working on another story set in the same world with different characters.

That’s great news.
Is Skybound Kirkman’s wing of the Image mansion?
Thanks for the links.
