One of the starred searches on Bing today are comic mashups. Some of them are laughably terrible but one or two are OK.

It would be legit terrifying seeing this thing running at me.

He was always good. They just did what comics do and made it not matter.

So true, at the end of every event we just end up back at the status quo.

That's why I don't bother with them anymore. And they tend to want to kill someone just to make it matter.

Secret Wars 3 was an awesome event but you had to read Hickman's entire runs on Fantastic Four, FF, Avengers and New Avengers to get the full effect and that's asking a lot unless you happened to be reading those anyways like I was....it does seem like a decade plus of hero vs hero stories is finally coming to an end at Marvel. I'm only keeping up with a couple Marvel titles now maybe things will get better.

The only Marvel U book I'm reading now is Jessica Jones. Everything else is Star Wars.

Amazing Spider-Man - Renew Your Vows
Amazing Spider-Man
Astonishing X-Men
Avengers
Infamous Iron Man
Mighty Thor
Old Man Logan
Star Wars
Darth Vader

I guess I'm reading more than I thought. I recently gave up on Daredevil and Hawkeye which made me sad but they aren't holding my interest. I'm not sure how much longer I'll stick with the X-Men, 616 Amazing Spider-Man and Avengers. I read them mostly to stay in the loop. (Renew Your Vows) Spidey, (Doctor Doom) Iron Man, Thor and Old Man Logan are all consistently good though.

I'm almost exclusively Marvel. JJ is the best thing I'm reading. I'm gonna start Infamous Iron Man on my vacation.

The only thing I get from DC is anything JRjr or Jim Lee draws. I get STER TREK New Visions from and Ragnarok from IDW and Kill or Be Killed from Image. Anything Brubaker writes, I'm on it.

Marvel is JJ, Star Wars, Vader, Doctor Aphra.

I read my share of DC. Batman, Superman, Detective Comics, Action Comics, All-Star Batman, Super Sons, Teen Titans, Redhood and the Outlaws and sometimes Nightwing if it looks like a good arc. Valiant Comics has relaunched X-O Manowar which I think is great. Dark Horse I read Conan, Black Hammer and the occasional Mike Mignola-verse comic that catches my eye. I like Star Trek Boldly Go from IDW. Rick Remender has several Image books I follow Black Science being the best. Hickman's East Of West for Image too. Sounds like I should try Jessica Jones.

Jessica's first run is called Alias. Have you read that already? If not, do.

What's the best way to sell my comics? I have issues from the 50s up to 2012. Very few are worth more than $10.

Old stuff includes Silver Surfer, FF and those long discontinued war comics.

I think I had every TMNT and all the spinoffs, but they were read, reread and all but destroyed.

I have some #1s from the 90s - Uncanny Xmen, Spiderman 2199. I might have the death of Superman arc.

Recently, I have the first few Thief of Thieves.

I have so many random issues. When I was a kid, I would buy lots of comics, meaning a lot like a lot of 50 for $10 right from the publisher. Likely unsold returns from the bookstore.
