Just saw the first episode of this and I really liked it. Charming without being saccharine.

Yeah, I've been watching. It is charming, but it can also be a little too sentimental, if that's the right word. And it's definitely obvious, in terms of plots, characterization, and even (though less so) jokes. It's a good show for the last half hour before bedtime when my brain and body are done for the day, but I'm still resistant to going to bed (I hate going to sleep and waking up).

Yeah I'm on board with all that. I've only seen one episode and I'm sold.
And I like a bit of sentimentality now and again:)
