I started reading the new part of Winds of Winter last night, and liked it, but I was too tired to finish it. It is on his official page.

groetjes,
Mirella :)

Some interesting news in regards to the new dunk and egg novella:
from www.towerofthehand.com
the next Dunk and Egg tale will not be part of George R. R. Martin's upcoming Dangerous Women cross-genre anthology, as long anticipated. Instead, the anthology will feature an original novella called "The Princess and the Queen," which GRRM says tells "the true (mostly) story of the origins of the Dance of the Dragons." "The Princess and the Queen"-- along with twenty other cross-genre short stories from various celebrated authors-- has now been delivered to his editors at Tor. While no publication date has been set yet for Dangerous Women, we can probably expect it before the fourth Dunk and Egg tale (re: the She-Wolves of Winterfell), which is suddenly without an announced publication.

I ready COK before the 2nd season was out and I felt like I was disappointed with some of the HBO chnages. So this time I will read SOS after the HBO season even though it will be split into two seasons.

Yeah.. The metal grommet in Mance's belt is distracting. The wildlings uniforms have always looked too 20th century to me.

By the way, with Tobias Menzies as Edmure Tully, we now have both Brutus and Julius Caesar reunited!

Season 3 trailer is out.

Don't click below if you haven't read book 3.

Spoiler: show
is that rob strung up with the hood? If so, that's a ballsy spoiler in a preview trailer.

I am going to say it isn't him only because they ambush him at the wedding. I don't really recall any one person being captive aside from Jamie/Brienne. Also, like the books, it appears that they are foreshadowing by ramming "Rains of Castamere" and its meaning down our throats, so I'd assume the Red Wedding has very little changed about it.

Got the S2 Blu Ray today. Hopefully I can do a series re-watch before S3 starts. I haven't been this excited for television since LOST.
