That was just in case there's others like me who hadn't seen it before

I'm putting these details under a spoiler tag, but I want to make clear that I've not sought out any leaks regarding the new season, nor have I come across any accidentally. It doesn't touch on any leaks. But on a recent podcast, The Ringer's GOT people talked about the odds that a sportsbook has for the question, "Who will rule Westeros at the end of GoT?" and the hosts were worried that the character with the shortest/best odds indicated that there might be a leak somewhere that's gone unreported. So read at your own risk, I guess?

Spoiler: show
So on this week's Bill Simmons Podcast, The Ringer's GoT show hosts discussed how a sportsbook (I'd look for a link, but gambling sites are blocked on my work computer) has, inexplicably, Bran with the shortest odds of ruling Westeros at the end of the series--at the time of the recording, he was +150. Jon was +200 and Dany was also +200. They speculated that there might be a leak somewhere that no one's aware of, because who would be putting action on that otherwise? Very curious.

I was just commenting this morning on how no leaks have come out about this season. Season 6 and 7 were out months before the premieres.

HBO has actually pulled a legit Tyrion and "leaked" fake info to different sources. As that false info had surfaced they know where it came from as a result.

Apparently someone got fired from ESPN recently because of it.

Shit's on lockdown. And I love it.

ESPN fired somebody for leaking GoT stuff? That’s weird.

I know ESPN recently fired an anchor for leaking stuff discussed internally, but I’m not understanding the GoT stuff either.

The Ringer is counting down to the premiere by publishing a series of articles about the loose ends the series might wrap-up and the questions that still need to be answered. Tough to tell, but it seems like they might be doing this daily. These are very short little pieces, and nothing in them is revelatory, but might be a good place to recharge if you haven't re-watched recently:

#1 - Will Arya finish her list? https://www.theringer.com/tv/2019/2/18/ ... -kill-list

#2 - Will Dany give birth? https://www.theringer.com/tv/2019/2/19/ ... y-jon-snow

Wrapping up last week's articles:

#3 - Will Bran warg into a dragon? https://www.theringer.com/tv/2019/2/20/ ... loose-ends

#4 - Do the good guys have enough strength to defeat the WW on the battlefield? https://www.theringer.com/tv/2019/2/21/ ... el-weapons

#5 - How did Pod become so good at sex? https://www.theringer.com/tv/2019/2/22/ ... ne-sex-god

Here's their Storystream link so you can keep track of 'em and so I won't feel the need to post every single day: https://www.theringer.com/game-of-thron ... loose-ends

I haven't read today's yet, and it does sound interesting, but be warned: it covers something that's been revealed in the books but not in the show (yet?):

Spoiler: show
#6 - Will Catelyn Stark return? https://www.theringer.com/tv/2019/2/25/ ... n-season-8

I wouldn't be pissed but I'm not sure what it would add to the story at this point. Especially since we only have like two episodes left. Feels unnecessary and impotent with the time remaining.

But they should have fucking done it in the first place.
