Last episode was great, I love the way they use real historical battle tactics in this show. Dany basically blitzkrieged the Lannister army with Drogon acting as combo tank/dive bomber. Once their line was broken by the dragon they were done. I too was rooting for both sides in this battle and thought it was excellently done.

I'm a huge fan of how they shoot the battles. It's a lost art in movies lately.

Completely agree. It is chaotic yet you can still sense what is going on.

RE: Dany's intentions, I'm going to give her the benefit of a doubt considering she freed a whole nation of slaves and has been careful not to just burn the whole civilization down, which she's obviously capable of.

she only attacked an army; it wasn't a city or castle. I think that's probably an important part of her perspective of not being seen as a foreign invader

I felt that but also seemed as though it moved the story forward. At least for one who has not read the books....

I agree, and thought it was a good episode, but it felt rushed.

I feel like they should have just done a full season, and a short season next year to wrap it all up...

Yea i have no idea how they wrap up such an extravagant story over 2 more episodes.

That episode was way too rushed. Lots to unpack but I felt like they condensed two or three episodes into one.

Loved Davos' smuggling skills in action...
