James Marsden (Cyclops in the first 3 movies) was seen on a flight leaving Montreal with Halle Berry (which is where the current X-men movie Days of Futures Past is being filmed... along with Hugh Jackmans tweet earlier in the week about a "X-men reunion" seems like Cyclops is coming back in some form...

considering the size of this cast, time travel / two time lines... this really makes me hope Singer knows what hes doing and the Writers really worked hard to work out all the kinks.

singer in the X-universe has done nothing but gain my trust and will so until he has done something to break that trust.

not sure if you read DoFP or not but the clothing makes absolute sense so i dont really feel any digs should be made about that at all

I want to read DoFP, but freaking Marvel? has yet to put out Uncanny X-men Omnibus 2 and 3? and 1 left off right in the middle of the Dark Phoenix Saga too no less... im actually reading Age of Apocalypse right now.

the thing that has always bugged me with Fox, and this goes all the way back to the 90's animated series... (and especially now with what Marvel did with the Avengers movies) is Fox just seems very 1 movie focused... okay that worked now where can we go...

I just started re-watching Wolverine and the X-men, THAT SERIES, KICKS MAJOR ASS!

So, apparently Evan Peters has joined the cast of X-men DoFP, as...
QUICKSILVER!

This, comes on the heels of Joss Whedon saying Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch will be in Avengers 2.

DoFP better end up a 3 hour / or 2 part movie with this big of a cast.

Now We'll Have Two Quicksilvers
Image

May 24, 2013

Kick-Ass and American Horror Story's Evan Peters has reportedly joined X-Men: Days of Future Past as Quicksilver, the mutant hero able to move surprisingly fast in his baby boy's onesie.

The film has quite a few peripheral characters showing up in presumably smaller roles, but what makes director Bryan Singer's reveal for Quicksilver interesting is that it comes a month after word that Joss Whedon would also be including the hero (and sister Scarlet Witch) in The Avengers 2. Due to the character's origins and common team affiliations, nerd attorneys have reportedly split the rights between Fox and Marvel, the Solomon-like edict dividing Quicksilver's Magneto lineage from his best-known work with the Avengers. That means the Quicksilver of Whedon's film won't be able to make reference to X-Men or even to being a mutant, and it seems almost certain another actor will play the part in the Marvel universe.

I am? I know alot of X-fans are, but it seems, the overall comic book fans think Fox will just fuck up things more, and that Marvel should take back the X-films... which I find laughable... as X-1 and X-2 are considered the 2 movies that really got the ball rolling on the current state of Comic movies... and Marvel put out a shit movie for Captain America, and its not like their isnt major problems with the others.

It does seem though that Fox isnt really pushing the publicity machine for the Wolverine yet? which seems odd...

I'm not really interested in this one. Can't say why. Wolverine fatigue maybe? I'm probably gonna wait till it comes on HBO or something. I hope it's good though.

rumor is, Fox will be announcing at SDCC their plans for the next stage in X-movies...
and the rumor is... X-Force will be spinning out of the Days of Futures Past movie next year!

Just ordered Wolverine Origins Motion Comic from Marvel Knights, should show up next week.
Which I'll be seeing Sir Paul McCartney on Tuesday, and Pearl Jam on Friday
and in 2 weeks, The Wolverine! Gonna be a good 2 weeks for this cat.

Man, I can't stand watching these. Even if it's cool to get all that information, the whole thing always feels so awkward.

hahaha yeah, and they had what? 20 people? on stage???
Ian, Patrick and Hugh did most of the talking...
there was a great moment when someone asked Hugh of all the other mutants hes worked with, outside of Wolverine, whos his fav? and he rambles STORM on and on for a good STORM min trying to avoid the STORM question, while constantly slipping his favorite STORM into the STORM sentence, it was actually pretty STORM impressive how many times STORM he said it.

and the bit where Patrick talks about how, he shouldnt be there, as he was, well, vaporized in X-3
