i remember my dad telling me that he read that people in the theater had given this movie a standing ovation at the end...i went to see it with a friend in 92 or 93 whatever it was and i just kept wondering who those people were and did they see a different movie than i just watched..

it's no cry macho though, thats for sure..what a great movie that was
