So I don't say this kind of shit often but The Last of Us was not just a game, but an experience. Don't think I've ever cared so much for a story and the characters as I did from that game. I'm hoping Part 2 doesn't falter--definitely my most anticipated game out there now. Highly recommend it to those who haven't played.
Red Dead 2 has lost me a bit after the last trailer. Also think Rockstar (like GTAV) will be much more focused on cashing in on multiplayer content and are drifting away solid narrative and single player experience.
i've never been big on cooperative gaming. i think i used an iphone headset a few times playing with friends in Rocket League so hopefully that hack still works.
i always thought it was kind of odd that i could never hear any in-game chatter in the last Battlefront, i guess i just assumed it had to be manually enabled or you needed a headset for it. Either way i was happy to not have to listen to people. Might have been my favorite feature in the game actually.
I really only use the headset to play online with friends. Usually it is more catching up than actually cooperating. It can be extremely beneficial if you are actually trying to be good at a game.
I mute chat if I don't have a headset though.
Doesn't the PS4 come with a one earpiece/microphone setup that you can plug into the controller?

This is my number one concern. I sincerely hope they put as much love and attention to the single player as the first one into this one.

Yeah, I really liked that "friends only" aspect of Battlefront mp.

Is that why i'm not hearing the chatter? either way it's fucking great to not have to deal with that crap.
