if it's like FC4, they'll have keys we can share with others to join our games for a bit. it's like a co-op demo, but one of us owners would have to send you an invite. i'll let you know when it drops next week.

I'm going to try it. It'll be my first Far Cry.

I think I've finally had my fill of Subnautica, but what a fun journey. And I haven't been this excited about an expansion in years.
On a scale of 1 to 10.. like how complicated is this game.. I wanna buy it because I read good things, but I don't really want something where I gotta put a million hours in trying to figure shit out
Like I just want to swim around and check out cool fish.. maybe bust a cap in their asses if need be

Maybe a 5 or a 6? I didn't find it very complicated at all.
No busting caps - the only weapon (sorta) is a knife, so the focus is on survival.
I normally get bored of survival games very quickly because they're so grindy, but I was making ridiculous things really quickly in this. There's a "survival" mode where you have to worry about food and water, but I used "freedom" mode, where those are disabled, so the focus is on exploring, building stuff, and progressing through the surprisingly good story.
The best part of the game is exploring, so if you like the thought of swimming around and uncovering weird new biomes and fish...
Oh, and for a much tenser experience, enable "filmic" mode, which makes the depths pitch black. I'm playing that on my current playthrough, and I wish I could go back to how terrified I felt of going more than 20m deep when I first played.

so you guys weren't kidding about Bloodborne being brutally hard. I played for a couple hours yesterday and died at least 30 times. That first werewolf that you encounter got me at least 10 times before i went online for help and learned that you're supposed to stay in that hunters dream area after you die the first time and collect some weapons . Even at that it still took me a few tries to kill that sumbitch.

If you're set on completing this game and not willing to keep trial-and-erroring, by which I mean you're gonna die a million times, I recommend you get some more advice from the internet on your play-through. I've actually never beaten this game.. I think I made it a little over half way through and checked out some youtube videos on what's to come and figured it just isn't worth the stress. I play games for fun these days.

I get that. I've never finished a Dark Souls game for this reason, but Bloodborne just clicked. MF, you don't have to kill every enemy. You can run from the smaller minions to get items and to get to the next lamp. What weapon did you choose?
