If it opened in the nightclub, that’s the theatrical cut. It’s overall faster-paced, more edge of your seat and unnerving. If it opened with the speedboats, that’s the director’s cut. Leans into the moody, atmospheric stuff more. Nice in theory but overall is a fairly different experience and I think that disquieting propulsion gets lost. |
